History:
Elmwood Books & fine gifts is a small Christchurch store

Comteq Review:
After spending an hour speaking with Dave & Lorraine analysing
their current processes, it was evident that they required an
accounting system to substantially speed up the bookkeeping processes,
and a Point of Sale system to keep track of their stock and integrate
with their accounting system.

Improved Point of Sale:
Once the stock
was loaded into the Point of Sale system the following
improvements occurred:
• Processing customers was more than twice as fast
Result – No queues in peak times meaning they were losing
no customers from the queue and they were offering better customer
service to their customers.
This resulted in a 20% increase in transaction almost immediately.
• Great stock control
Result – Stock location halved, stock levels where they should be so
